Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise, an American actress and writer best known for portraying Ginger Grant on the television show Gilligan's Island during the 1960s. Her acting career began as a stage artist during the 1950s beginning in Two's Company a musical by Bettle Davis. Then she appeared in numerous Broadway performances before she was the most famous on stage together with Li'l Abner, in the year 1957. The album was released by her Too Late for Tina that same year. Louise's first foray into Hollywood was when she played Griselda on God's Little Acre which was a 1958 drama. The film was met with wide applause. Louise won the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the year category. She enrolled in Actors Studio, New York at the time, and later became Lee Strasberg's teacher. The next notable role she portrayed in the role of Ginger Grant, which CBS was the first to sign her on with in 1964. Louise Balfour was able to play between Broadway as well as Hollywood portraying somber character as against her famous image as a glamorous doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The series starred her as SG-1's Helen Magnus and Sanctuary. However, in recent years she was also a prominent director for popular TV shows such as Supernatural as well as The 100. She was birthed in Essex on the 28th of August on the 28th of August, 1965. The family relocated to Toronto to spend her youth. When she was selected in 1997 to play Samantha Carter she settled down in Vancouver and has lived in Vancouver ever since.
