Sharni Vinson is an American-born Australian actress, dancer, born on 22 July 1983 in Sydney Australia. Her debut as an actor was in the year 201 when she was asked to feature in the Australian Soap soap opera Home and Away where she played a small role in two episodes. The show was able to select her for the leading character on the soap opera in Australia Home and Away due to her performance in this small part was so impressive that the casting agents wanted to cast her in various parts. While she tried for the role, it was not selected. Instead, she was cast in the show in the role of Cassie Turner, a troubled girl who lives within foster homes.
